Summon Night 6 Lost Borders comes to the West next year

According to Siliconera, Gaijinworks is localizing Summon Night 6: Lost Borders according to their announcement. including English voice acting for Summon Night 6’s key scenes. The recording will begin sometime this month. The game itself has 50% more text than Summon Night 5.

6 is set in Fillujah, a cocoon world. Raj and Amu live on a quiet island with companions, Patch and Quilt. A meteor falls into Fillujah and people from Lyndbaum begin appearing in this world. Characters from previous Summon Night games, like Summon Night 5 appear in the game.

Many features will return. Certain aspects from previous games of the franchise. There are over a dozen endings, which can be reached by taking part in conversations at night with allies. Like the characters, the fishing minigame from Summon Night 5 returns before cooking them. The battle system will have Summon Bursts, where two allies team up to for a combined summon magic attack, not to mention Chain Attacks where allies will automatically attack an enemy they’re surrounding with no repercussions.

Being on the PS4 and Vita, there is no surprise that it’ll be in HD.

I thought this franchise was so dead. I mean the 3 games in GBA, 2 english releases and 1 Japanese release in Japanese… Then… one or two on the DS? Summon Night 5 is on PSP. Summon Night 6 is for PS4 and PSVita.

I like the second one…very anime´y

The Vita and PS4 game will be released in North America, South America, and Europe in the first quarter of 2017. It will be available digitally in all three regions, but only have physical copies in North America.
