This probably happened like 15 years ago in Alpha, but I just all of a sudden notice this now.
There’s sorta no point in having one now, considering how much damage is done in games.
That was an interesting mechanic. I once fought my cousin in Street Fighter, and we had like 20 Final Rounds in a row.
Imagine the drama behind that in like a tournament in a big convention or city. Imagine the drama.
The added utility it gives games not knowing when you’ll finish (in overtime.)
