Virtuoso (3DO) review

The Home of 16 to 32 bit games

This game had a lot of promise, but falls flat for one reason sadly.

It had pretty much what everyone would want. Cool concept: A long haired, leather jacket guy in digital animation who shoots a bunch of aliens with his shotgun and smart bombs.

Cutting edge graphics. 3D.

Also, that kick ass soundtrack.

What else could anyone want?

Well, one problem is the walking. It’s very fluttery, and although not impossible, not accessible for casual gamers. There are a lot of buttons for the turning. I like that there’s a use of a 360 button with the C button. Another cool feature is leaning against walls which pretty much makes you invincible.
